Doug Bisson
January 24th, 2012 : : Emerging Terrain : :Doug serves as HDR’s Community Planning Manager and has expertise in urban design and redevelopment. He was the Project Manager for several notable initiatives within the region, including the Downtown Omaha Master Plan, the North Downtown Redevelopment Plan, Aksarben Village, Destination Midtown, the South Omaha Development Project, and the Omaha Streetcar Feasibility Study. Professionally, Doug is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, American Planning Association, and the Congress for New Urbanism. Locally, Doug serves on numerous community-based boards including City of Omaha Landmarks and Historic Preservation Commissions, Omaha by Design, and the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Council.
