Carol Gendler

Carol is a graduate of Wellesley College and holds a graduate degree from University of Nebraska Omaha. She is the owner of Marathon Realty, President and Founder of Legal Information Services, and served as director of the Douglas County Law Library. She currently serves as a director of Lauritzen Gardens, Omaha Public Library, Omaha Community Foundation, Heartland Family Service, Nebraska Humanities Council, The Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, and the Omaha Creative Institute. Carol was recently selected as the 2007 Philanthropist of the Year by the Nebraska Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. In addition to Carol’s tremendous contributions to the Omaha Community, she spends time traveling and exploring the world with her family.
